As the third iteration of the "Bird on a Pearl" series, the new collection interprets the charm of natural wild pearls with ingenious designs. In some pieces, the bird elegantly perches on a Baroque or teardrop-shaped pearl, as if soaring freely between nature and art. In other designs, the pearl transforms into the bird's head or body, presenting a perfect blend of natural elegance and bold creativity. The gradient hues and diverse forms of the pearls evoke the changing seasons, from the soft radiance of spring and the vibrant brilliance of summer to the serene depth of autumn, with each piece exuding natural allure.
The pearls used in the collection were meticulously selected by Mr. Hussein Al Fardan from the Gulf region. Crafting a natural wild pearl necklace of exceptional size, shape, and luster often requires over two decades of collection. In the "Bird on a Pearl: Spirit Bird Perched on a Pearl" chapter, Tiffany has, for the first time, transformed the pearl into the bird's body, giving this legendary bird a new posture. The "Acorn Dewdrop" and "Oak Leaf Autumn Splendor" chapters draw inspiration from Jean Schlumberger's archival patterns, adorning necklaces and earrings with acorn and oak leaf motifs, paired with large pearls that exude autumnal charm, showcasing the harmonious beauty of nature and art. The "Pearl and Emerald Vine" chapter pays homage to the designer's love for the natural forms of flora, featuring a ring set with a gray teardrop-shaped natural wild pearl surrounded by diamond leaves, embodying the distinctive Jean Schlumberger style.
